TCU Launch Control for BMW and VAG Group
With transmission control unit (TCU) software we set up or adjust launch control to suit your vehicle.
01 What is it?
Launch control is a start-off programme that manages engine speed and transmission clutch together so the car pulls away from standstill as efficiently as possible. On many BMW and VAG (VW, Audi, Škoda, Seat) models the transmission software can be prepared for this feature.
02 What we do
We adjust the TCU software to the transmission type and engine output, setting launch rpm and clutch behaviour to your intended use. The feature is intended for track and closed-area use; in traffic, applicable regulations and driver responsibility apply.
03 Process
- We read the vehicle and the relevant control unit; on most vehicles via OBD, without removing parts.
- We archive the original software.
- We prepare the software for your vehicle and load it.
- We run a check afterwards.
