01 What is it?
Pop & bangs (burble) is the crackling and burbling heard from the exhaust when the throttle is released. In software, fuelling and ignition timing at lift-off are altered to create this character.
02 What we do
We prepare a set-up suited to the engine and exhaust, adjusting loudness and rpm range. We avoid overly aggressive settings to protect the catalytic converter and exhaust. Please keep applicable exhaust-noise regulations in mind.
03 Process
- We read the vehicle and the relevant control unit; on most vehicles via OBD, without removing parts.
- We archive the original software.
- We prepare the software for your vehicle and load it.
- We run a check afterwards.
Frequently asked
Does it harm the engine?
When set moderately it usually causes no problems, but aggressive settings load the catalytic converter and exhaust. We recommend a moderate level suited to your vehicle.
