EGR Valve Fault Solution
For power drops, rough idle and fault warnings caused by the EGR valve, we find the cause and offer a solution.
01 The problem
Over time the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve can stick from soot and deposits. Symptoms include a warning light, loss of power, rough idle and limp mode.
02 The solution
We read the fault codes and determine whether the problem comes from the valve, a sensor or the air path. The scope of any software work is clarified in a preliminary discussion according to the vehicle’s condition, intended use and applicable regulations.
