How does a chip tuning job go?

  1. 01

    Vehicle check and logs

    The vehicle’s general condition is checked and the logs needed for the software are recorded.

  2. 02

    Reading the vehicle software

    Newer vehicles are connected through the OBD port and nothing is removed. For older vehicles without OBD access the ECU is connected by cable; its case is never opened. The original software is archived.

  3. 03

    Preparing the software

    The package you choose (Eco, Stage 1, Stage 2) is prepared for your engine based on the logs.

  4. 04

    Loading the software

    The prepared software is loaded to the vehicle.

  5. 05

    Checks and test drive

    The necessary checks are made, followed by a test drive.

  6. 06

    Vehicle handover

    The vehicle is handed back to you. The average time is 2–3 hours, depending on the vehicle.
