Sport-Mode Pop & Bangs for the BMW Group
On BMW group vehicles pop & bangs is active only in Sport drive mode; in normal modes the car stays as quiet as usual.
01 What is it?
Driving modes on BMW vehicles (Comfort, Eco, Sport) are managed by separate maps in software. We can tie the pop & bangs behaviour to Sport (or Sport+) mode only.
02 What we do
We prepare a pop & bangs set-up that is active when you select Sport mode and stays off in other modes. We adjust loudness and rpm range to the model.
03 Process
- We read the vehicle and the relevant control unit; on most vehicles via OBD, without removing parts.
- We archive the original software.
- We prepare the software for your vehicle and load it.
- We run a check afterwards.

Will it be bothersome in daily use?
Outside Sport mode the car runs normally and stays quiet in daily use. You decide when the sound is active and how loud it is.
