SportCooling (Early Fan Activation)
A software application that makes the cooling fan switch on earlier on BMW, VAG, Opel, PSA and similar vehicles.
01 What is it?
At factory settings the radiator fan switches on at a relatively high temperature. With SportCooling the fan starts at a lower temperature, keeping the engine and turbo system cooler.
02 What we do
We set the fan switch-on temperature lower for your vehicle’s make and engine. The aim is a more stable engine temperature in hot weather, heavy traffic and spirited driving.
03 Process
- We read the vehicle and the relevant control unit; on most vehicles via OBD, without removing parts.
- We archive the original software.
- We prepare the software for your vehicle and load it.
- We run a check afterwards.
Frequently asked
Will the fan run all the time?
No. The fan only starts at an earlier temperature and stops once the engine cools. Fan running time may increase slightly.
