DSG Transmission Optimisation and Power Options
For dual-clutch DSG transmissions we adjust shift behaviour, clutch settings and torque limits to suit the increased engine output.
01 What is it?
DSG is the VAG group’s (VW, Audi, Škoda, Seat) dual-clutch transmission. The mechatronic unit’s software determines shift speed, clutch behaviour and torque limit.
02 What we do
We adjust the DSG software for faster, more consistent shifts and clutch settings and torque limits suited to higher engine torque. If you like, we can also cover sport-mode behaviour and launch control.
03 Process
- We read the vehicle and the relevant control unit; on most vehicles via OBD, without removing parts.
- We archive the original software.
- We prepare the software for your vehicle and load it.
- We run a check afterwards.
